It is approx. 400 m to the Müritz (Germany's largest inland lake). Between the vacation home and the Müritz is a field with an adjacent meadow, which connects directly to the water. The way there leads along the asphalted "Müritz, bike and hiking trail" along a beautiful tree avenue.
