The ski-in/ski-out chalet is located in the small village of Kötschach-Mauthen, at the tip of Carinthia's Gailtal valley, nestled between breathtaking mountain formations in the tri-border point Austria - Italy - Slovenia and blessed with above-average sunshine hours. Other ski areas in the region include the Nassfeld-Hermagor ski area with 110 km of slopes, the Zettersfeld ski area at the foot of the Schleinitz in the Lienzer Dolomites in East Tyrol with 21 km of slopes and the Golzentipp family ski area in Obertilliach in East Tyrol with 12 km of slopes. You can easily reach these ski resorts in 25-45 minutes by car.
