Positive: The property was new, clean and tidy with good facilities.

Negative: When we arrived, (late in the day) we were given a key through the safe lock system. We were told that the property number was 97 however, within the number 97 there were 3 properties that didn’t have numbers on the doors! Consequently we had to go through each door to see if the key fit. This would have been quite embarrassing if the owners of the other apartments were at home. We had plans to meet people in Hamburg so just dropped our bags and went strait out. When we returned. My son went into the one bedroom and I started to set the sofa bed up. When constructing the sofa bed, I noticed that there was no mattress. The apartment was advertised as 1 bedroom, 2 beds. So I assumed that the sofa bed in the pictures would be suffice. That evening I made do with the sofa which was very firm and extremely uncomfortable. I had visited Hamburg to go cycling with friends and family and had a 140km bike ride planned the following day. Not having a decent sleep was not helpful and totally unacceptable. Additionally, the bedding was smelly and was not laundered properly. I contacted the owner who apologised but told me they would replace the bedding but the sofa bed is how it should be. I told them that it wasn’t what described in the advertisement but that fell on deaf ears. When we returned after the bike ride later on the following day. The bedding was sat in a plastic bag outside the door!
