In winter, the ski resorts of Katschberg-Aineck, Grosseck-Speiereck, Fanningberg and Obertauern in Salzburgerland, as well as Turracher Höhe and Kreischberg in Styria with a total of more than 300 km of slopes are within short driving distance, ideal for skiing, snowboarding and winter hiking.

On hot summer days, the holiday region Lungau offers numerous opportunities to take a refreshing dip.
