The apartment is located on the ground floor in a small Resthof between the two nature parks Solling-Vogler and Ith in the middle of the Weserbergland. With numerous excursion possibilities in a charming, fairytale-like landscape, you can spend wonderful days in the Weserbergland. From 2015 to 2017, the entire house was ecologically insulated with Isofloc and clad with Douglas fir. We deliberately heat with wood: We operate a central heating system through a water-led fireplace and collectors. With us live our bitch Lola and three Welsh Mountain ponies as well as a Highland pony, which are the namesake of the two apartments. They live in their open stable, which borders directly on our garden. The apartments are individually decorated with furniture from the early days, neo-renaissance and neo-gothic and offer almost all the comforts of our time.
