Our apartment is located on a side street in the immediate vicinity of the forest. With us you have absolute peace and no through traffic. From the car parking space on the property and from the garden you reach the separate entrance on one level.

Unterweißbach is located in the southern Thuringian Forest between Rennsteig and Schwarzatal at an altitude of 350 m above sea level. The resort is framed by forested heights on the streams of the Weißbach, the Lichte and the Schwarza.

Well-known hiking trails are the Schwarzatal panorama trail, the Froebel and the Olita hiking trail. The Schwarzatal Cycle Path and the Ilm Cycle Path are ideal for cycling tours.
Other destinations are u. a. the glass blowing town of Lauscha, the fairy grottoes in Saalfeld, the flower town of Erfurt and the Oberhof, famous for its winter sports.
