Our apartment is located in the Bingen-Kempten district, a quiet wine town on the Rhine. Bakers, butchers and much more are within walking distance. You can shop well in the Scharlachberg business park: there you will find a large REWE market, Aldi Süd and a dm drugstore, just a few minutes' drive away. It is best to buy wines directly from the winegrower. The Hemmes winery in Kempten is known for excellent wines. And if you don't feel like cooking, we recommend the Winterhafen ship restaurant.
The "Kempten" bus stop is just around the corner. The city bus of line 601 takes you every hour to the center of Bingen within a very short time. Bingen Central Station is less than 5 km away. With the Regionalexpress you travel along the beautiful Rhine route without changing to Koblenz, Mainz or to Frankfurt. You can take the Rhine ferry to Rüdesheim on the other side of the river.
