Summary: This is a basic hotel that is clean and provides wifi and good bathroom facilities. It is located in the Hanau downtown area and provides good access to that area. It did not offer breakfast nor any means to make coffee in the room. That meant an early morning trip to the streets each day to find a wake-up cup of coffee. This was our only lodging experience during a 27 day trip to Europe where coffee was not anywhere to be had in the hotel. The other thing that was unique was that there was no air-conditioning which necessitated keeping the window open to the very loud surroundings. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy, but that seems to be the norm for downtown Hanau these days. We have family in that city and we've stayed in downtown Hanau twice. Both times we were disappointed with the hotel, but we've concluded that it's more the sorry state of the Hanauer Innenstadt than the hotels themselves. Next time we stay somewhere else.

Summary: We booked the hotel for a one night stay.
The guy at the front desk was very friendly, he explained everything we needed to know about our stay and parking etc.
Breakfast was very tasty and fresh.
Overall we had nog complaints and were very happy with our stay here.
