Positive: Lots of possibilities for the kids to be busy (horses, cats, pool, attractions nearby, playground). Staff was very pleasant, helpful and had an incredible energy, making sure you are comfortable and that nothing fails. Food variety was excellent.

Negative: Desk service needs to be more attentive/present in dealing with customer issues. I had an issue with my booking, the staff was not helpful at all, instead I was repeatedly told to contact the agent (the problem was shifted on others). I ended up paying due to the hotel’s booking mismanagement an extra mind you 1000€ 😦 Reason was: on my booking data, the age of my kids wasn’t confirm to their actual age (by the way, i wasn’t given the option to include my kids age, which you NEED to do if you don’t wanna end up like me paying way more then you thought you would). I honestly was so disappointed that after this downer, I was offered NOTHING (which hotels normally do when they are also at fault, the hotel for example, could have written in advance to make me aware of this detail. I actually informed the hotel, in a separate mail, long before we arrived, the exact age of my kids and asked for a confirmation, no one on their behalf noticed there was anything wrong with the booking, so this issue could have been resolved way before arriving on premises). After this incident, I was offered NOTHING (a compensation in form of an extra meal for example, a voucher of some sort) a small compensation to make up for the wrongdoing. I felt not properly taken care of when a problem occurred, i felt left to deal with the issue alone, i felt that the main focus of the hotel was to lift up their hands and claim its the fault of others, instead of owning up to their part in this mess and transparently addressing the issue. We tried enjoying as a family our stay in hotel Lerch, but due to this issue and the way it was dealt with, I would not be coming back.

Summary: The Hotel was pleasant and had many facilities, the problem i faced with management made sure i won’t be coming back.
