We rent two stylish apartments in a former school building in the middle of the Emmental at almost 1000m above sea level. You are looking at the smaller apartment on the 2nd floor. If you like peace, animals and nature, this is the place for you. The house is in front of a forest and you have a fantastic view from the Jura to the Bernese Alps. With us you can really relax. We can cook dinner on request and bring it to your apartment.
Within walking distance, there is a farm with cows and a cheese dairy where fresh dairy products can be bought daily. There are more shops in Signau Dorf and Langnau (15 minutes by car). Anyone who appreciates country life and nature has come to the right place.
There is no public transport to our house. Arrival is only possible by car. Around our house there are numerous hiking and biking trails across fields and through the forest. Langnau is the next larger town with various shops, restaurants and cafes. The city of Bern can be reached by car in 40 minutes, Lucerne and Interlaken in one hour. Relatively snow-sure ski areas are Snowparkeriz, Marbachegg and Linden about 30 minutes away, or Sörenberg about 1 hour away.
In summer, the Emmental is a hiking paradise and also suitable for cyclists.
