Positive: A splendid, spacious apartment only a few minutes walk away from the centre of Bamberg which even has its own small balcony accessed through the bathroom. Beds were very comfortable with warm linens, furnishings were good-quality, comfortable and the style was essentially restrained, crisp, smart, and as if a Scandinavian architect had decided to let loose. WiFi worked absolutely fine and was easy to access. A Rewe is close by if provisions are needed, and the small selection of teas and mineral water provided was a nice touch. Communications between Jörg and myself were clear, professional and friendly at all times. We were only there for one night, but for four people it represented very good value for money for the accommodation provided and we know full well where we will look to stay if we are remotely in the area another time.

Negative: There was a very minor issue with the first door not opening to get into the building, but a phone call to Jörg, who answered promptly and resolved the issue remotely, solved it. Apart from that, only spending one day there and having to leave.
