The bungalow offers new and modern furnishings and a fantastic view over the Strelasund. Altefähr has a beautiful, fine sandy beach to Strelasund and even if the sun is not shining here is an ideal starting point to explore the island of Rügen but also the Hanseatic city of Stralsund with its many attractions. It is about a 5-minute walk to the beach of Altefaehr. At the port of Altefähr you can surf, rent boats, fish and swim on the newly created beach. The lido in Altefähr was newly built in 2014. The surrounding area offers good opportunities for cycling tours with connections to Altefähr. Altefähr is an excellent base for exploring the islands of Rügen and Hiddensee, as well as Stralsund and the surrounding area. There is a hairdresser and various restaurants on site, including a Greek and a fish restaurant. There is a direct ferry connection between the ports of Altefähr and Stralsund, as well as a beautiful beach and the Baltic Sea can be reached by car within three quarters of an hour. Not to be forgotten is the wonderful view over the Sound to Stralsund. Those looking for nightlife will get their money's worth in Stralsund. Visit Stralsund the Ozeaneum, Ralswiek the Störtebekerspiele, Gingst the miniature park and not far from Sassnitz the Königsstuhl chalk cliffs and Sagardden Dinosaur Park.
