Positive: The apartment was big, and was very good in place. I like the fact that lots of the equipment was so old but reserved in a such good condition, that only Germans could do. The coffee machine didn't work, phoned the lady and she had brought another one in an hour. Cool.

Negative: Originally i wanted to give a more heartful and happier review about the apartment, since the host lady was very kind with us. Until we have left. About the cleanliness: the place looks very clean, until you see the spider in the bath room. Or the air filtration unit in the kitchen, that was never cleaned. We couldn't even use it, since it was going to fall off the wall if I turn it on. And we had to buy toilet gel the first day since the 30-40 years could be seen. (didn't really help through) There wasn't any dishwasher (all apartments we had been to in the past 10 years had one), but ok, we can do the dishes. And we had to, since the plates were greasy in the cupboard. We had to buy everything for the stay, we weren't even given a roll of toilet paper. Even the cheapest hosts do this. The bed looked good and comfortable, but after 5 days i couldn't sleep in it, the mattress is so old and used, like it had a hole in it (I am only 75kg, so it shouldn't be a problem) But I didn't really want to share all these bad things originally. After we had left (about half an hour had passed), the host called us (we were on the highway, didn't really understand much), and she was like we had left a catastrophy and 'zimmer is nicht gut'. This has made our day bad that we had felt bad for her, but really, we didn't really know what was her problem. We had done all the dishes. We had left the tourist tax together with the cleaning money - 50EUR. We weren't told to do anything before leaving, but we couldn't even do anything, since there wasn't even a broom in the apartment. So yes, we had left cleaning to do. For 50EUR, that is totally fine. But she made our day, and we still don't know what was the problem. Maybe it was us, or not, I don't know, but clear communication wasn't really doable. We speak 4 languages fluently - hungarian, English, italian and spanish. And german (hochdeutsch!) around b1 level.

Summary: The lake is beautiful! Just find yourself a better communicating host for the stay.
