With a total area of around 33 square kilometers, Lake Kummerow is the fourth largest lake in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The Festival of Lights takes place in Kummerow every year in midsummer, great fun with many events and live performances.Highlights included: WLANActivities nearby: The Mecklenburg Lake District is considered the largest contiguous lake area in Europe and will enchant you with its vast forests, moors and over thousand lakes, rivers and canals. Almost every kind of water sport is possible here, but you can also enjoy the unique nature on long walks or bicycle tours through the gently rolling landscape. From Demmin you can explore the lake and the Peene with a passenger ship, which is a navigable connection to the Baltic Sea. The mouth of the Peene is also known as the "Amazon of the North" and is the last undeveloped river valley in Germany.
